On the evening of April 11, the day after the accident, staff from the Chinese Consulate General in Perth contacted the Western Australia Guangdong Association and General Chamber of Commerce (hereinafter referred to as the Guangdong Association), hoping to get support and help from the Guangdong Association. Although he was still under serious injury observation, he could not eat normally or get out of bed.
