2022 Western Australia Guangdong Association Annual Summary
On March 3, all members of the Executive Council went to the Guangdong Guild Hall to receive the epidemic prevention materials donated by the Guangdong Federation of Returned Overseas Chinese, and quickly formulated distribution and delivery plans. As the epidemic became increasingly serious, in order to reduce contact between people, President Cai, Vice President Liao and Secretary-General Zhong finally sent love packages to Guangdong elderly people, businesses, international students and fellow villagers.
On May 10, the Western Australia China Business Golf Elite Tournament Business Reception and Charity Dinner was successfully held. A total of 36 teams with a total of 136 contestants participated in the golf invitational tournament. Nearly 300 business elites from different industries attended the charity dinner, raising nearly 10,000 Australian dollars to donate to children's mental health charities.
On May 12, 2022, President Cai attended the opening ceremony of the fifth branch of De Rucci Bedding, hosted by Mr. Mo Xurong, Vice Chairman of the Guangdong Golf Club of Western Australia.
On June 10, 2022, President Cai attended the 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Australia and China, and introduced the affairs of the Western Australian Guangdong Association and Chamber of Commerce to the new Chinese Ambassador to Australia, His Excellency Xiao Qian; and exchanged views with Western Australian Premier McGowan and Federal Member of Parliament Mr. Lin Wenqing and took photos.
On July 23, 2022, Mr. Chen Jiazhi, the permanent president of the Ronggui Association of Macau and chairman of Guangdong Yingao Kitchenware, visited the Western Australia Guangdong Association and Chamber of Commerce for exchanges.
On September 20, 2022, President Cai attended the Second International Overseas Chinese Youth Innovation and Entrepreneurship Competition. Young entrepreneurs from Guangdong in Western Australia participated in the competition, entered the finals and won the Excellence Award.
